Our People Are Everything

We come from all walks, personally and professionally. We work together and across businesses, solve problems, ask big questions, share stories, eat, laugh, debate, challenge and encourage our community toward a new, more conscious, empathetic and progressive economy.

Danny Almagor

Danny is the founder and CEO of Small Giants, which he started with Berry, who also happens to be the mother of his three children, and the creative director of Small Giants. Prior to Small Giants, Danny was the founding CEO of Engineers Without Borders and the CEO of Medivax. He has done some other cool stuff including being part of the team that broke the record for racing a solar car across Australia from Darwin to Adelaide. Berry Liberman

Berry is the co-founder and Creative Director of Small Giants, the Publisher of Dumbo Feather and a mum to the three cutest kids in the world. Berry loves the garden at work. Especially the roses. A few years back, Berry used to write screenplays in LA and directed a few short films but decided to come home, get married to Danny (CEO extraordinaire of Small Giants) and start Small Giants. Very good decision.

He has a number of side-projects and lives in Melbourne's inner-west with his wife and son.

Connie Musolino

Connie assists the Small Giants leadership team and looks after the beautiful White House. After working in many different roles over the years in different industries, Connie wanted to find a place that aligned with her personal values. When she's not running around and keeping everyone in the office in check, she loves running, travelling and food (it's in her Italian blood).

Dan Fitzgerald

After a career as an investor in the Old Economy, Dan embarked on a personal journey with his wife Leanne to seek out a way to sustain their own simple existence by contributing their energy and skills in service of a higher purpose. That journey led him to the Small Giants family where he is now part of the investment team. Dan and his family love riding waves together, snorkelling, hiking and sharing home-cooked meals with their community.

After a few months she went all the way over to Dumbo Feather to head up their events and community engagement and has come full circle to again be working between the two, looking after special projects and events. Madeline is currently completing her MBA at Melbourne Business School and has been pleasantly surprised to find that her arts/media brain enjoys data analysis and decision trees! She enjoys reading (anything, everything), travelling (anywhere), eating, running, watersports and a good red wine shared with friends.
