Program Producer (Contract)

About the position

We are seeking an exceptional person for a role of Small Giants Academy Program Producer who is part of the team responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Academy’s leadership programming for a more hopeful future (Mastery of Business and Empathy, Events, Deep Dives,Impact Safaris,Retreats) ensuring the highest possible standard, and embodying a philosophy of care embodied in what we call “enlightened

hospitality”.

This person will be self-motivated, creative and responsible for a range of operational, production, programming and partnership activities for a segment of our programs we call Deep Dives. From delivering programs to contracting speakers and facilitators to managing the budget, marketing and partnership for a number of our programs:  

  • Program production from conception to customer journey and evaluation
  • Develop and engage in partnerships and marketing
  • Manage program proposals and contracting
  • Coordinate speakers and resources for each program
  • Ideate on potential new programs and innovations
  • Event management and supporting community engagement
  • Hosting of virtual and in person programs (zoom and, primarily, at The White House in Melbourne)
  • Work collaboratively with a larger team that is delivering on events and programs

Our Deep Dives are a growing segment of our programming. This role will initially produce Storytelling for Change, Interconnected Leader and Next Economy Governance.

Location

A strong preference for Melbourne based applicants as we are headquartered in St Kilda, Melbourne

  • Leadership facilitation experience

Structure

Reports to Head of Programs with collaboration across the SGA team.

Working Hours

This is a 4 day a week position that requires flexibility as our programs are often held outside of usual business hours (in the evenings) up to 10 November 2024.
